I would very much like to join your Poultry Club and renew my interest in keeping backyard poultry. I have kept small amounts of backyard chooks most of my life,and thoroughly enjoyed managing them and having fresh eggs. Until recently, I have always had a large block of land, and had no trouble free ranging them. I just sold my property and have down sized considerably. My back yard is very small, but I am determined to buy a small coop and keep three or four bantams.  I am interested in Sussex bantams or Pekin bantams.

I am in the process of preparing a small concrete slab on which to place my coop. Also a small slab to place a small water tank,all in the corner of my block, which has been fenced off. This small yard, I hope,will be suitable for a few chooks to roam around, and still be protected. Hoping to come along to a monthly meeting, either April or May, and meet some members who could guide me into where to purchase appropriate Bantam birds later this year.  Until then, Regards, Christine Stephens.
